In 2022/2023 season, 20 teams were Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Leeds United, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But 3 teams were relegated from the Premier league. Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton were relegated and going to Championship league. Then who is promoted to Premier league ?

Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town are the teams who will return to the top league in this English football league. All 3 teams were previously in premier league. Burnley left on 22-23 season and came back right away, Sheffield United left Premier league on 21-22 season and came back after 2 years. But shockingly Luton Town to play in Premier league is after 31 years.

New 23-24 season will be super interesting and exciting. On August 12, the Premier League season will commence as Burnley plays host to Manchester City, the champions of three major tournaments.

During this summer transfer season, numerous teams are actively strategizing for their future squads. Each team has its own objectives, but typically, newly promoted teams prioritize ensuring their survival in the Premier League for another season. Personally, I will be cheering for Luton Town since their return to the Premier League after a remarkable 31-year absence makes their journey all the more valuable.
